MUDRAS


MUDRAS

A mudra is a specific position representing specific stage of
psyche, sometimes mudras are being used to regulate several involuntary psychological and bio chemical activities. The mudras are instrumental in awakening the hidden serpent power in human being Kundalini Sakthi. Mudras are generally used in three lields. They are
1. CIN MUDRA
Sit in padmasana. Join index and thumb fingers tip. Keep other fingers straight.
2. CIN MAYA MUDR A
Sit in vajrasana. Touch the thumb with the tip of the index finger; fold the other three fingers to touch the palm.
3. ADI MUDRA
Sit in padmasana. Keep the thumb inside the palm and fold the other fingers.
4. BRAHMA MUDRA
The hands position is that of closed fist at the level of navel facing each other knuckle wise.
5. SANMUKH1 MUDRA
Close the eyes with index fingers, ears with the thumbs and nostrils with the middle lingers, while placing the ring and little over the mouth.
